Insight No. 1 - The cost of doing business

length_of_time_to_produce.png

Length of time taken to produce a proposal

With some organisations spending well over 10% of project income on a winning bid it's sometime more than a simple cost of doing business.

What's the answer? Working smarter and faster, creating better and more persuasive proposals and something that some businesses don't look at enough - better qualification.

Learn to Write Proposals has all the tools to help you make better decisions, work smarter and write better proposals. All for a fraction of the cost of doing business.

Percentage of survey repsonses and the success rates

I recently included a page on Learn to Write Proposals entitled “10 laws and principles when writing proposals.

I intended this as a humorous aside and somewhat flippantly included my own law for posterity (I've put the others at the end of this survey insight): England's Law:

The chances of winning a proposal are directly in proportion to the number of hours between finishing it and the time it has to be submitted.

So is this true? Let's have a look at what our survey respondents tell us.
